Celebrating its monumental anniversary, Kohler showed up in style with a 100 x 150 square foot booth at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Themed around the brand’s tagline “Come all Creators,” the sesquicentennial design brought product launches, trends, sustainability, thought leadership, and throwback hues together in one stunning experiential space.

Working with our design team, Kohler wanted to create a beautiful, realistic showroom at KBIS that would surround attendees in luxury while making their way through multiple interactive experience areas: partnerships, sustainability, industry trends, and stories from the past 150 years. A key design component (and a sustainability consideration) was orchestrating and recirculating water throughout the space.
To celebrate this monumental anniversary, retro color options were promoted leading up the show — the campaign encouraged consumers to vote for their favorites that would be reintroduced for a limited time. The winning colors — Peachblow and Spring Green — were announced and on display at the event for attendees to see in person.
All this incredible work led to a Best in Show win out of 600+ exhibitors at KBIS. True to the brand’s sustainability promise, parts of the exhibit (display elements, ceiling, and flooring) will be repurposed for future usage such as photoshoots and other events.
