Technology Meets Human Experience
For the 2024 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, the goal was to create a never-before-seen dynamic experience leaving an extraordinary imprint with the 30,000+ professionals coming from all over the world.
Our Graphics, Design, A/V, and Events & Exhibit Services teams realized a narrative that vibrantly rooted the event at the intersection of healthcare and tech. Freeman’s creative professionals listened intently to concepts articulated by theHIMSS planners and executed on them in bespoke fashion designing, creating, and producing visuals to make a holistic campaign across the entire venue.

With multiple technology companies debuting AI-backed software aimed at creating better workflows and experiences in a clinical environment, cutting-edge concepts aligned with execution. Freeman revolutionized the Orlando County Convention Center to include a historic amount of digital signage, providing education while boosting the value of sponsorships and showing a commitment to sustainability.
Multiple times a day, more than 100 digital signs venue-wide seamlessly displayed synced sponsored content, designed byFreeman, while the LED lenticular wall featured images from an unprecedented perspective, and the towering keynote stage dazzled audiences with 500+ LED tiles.
This created a greener and more sustainable imprint — with a 50% reduction of printed 22×28 panels, and 95% reduction of printed meter board directional signs. It propelled the attendee experience light years forward, allowing for other experiential areas to shine, such as the multi-colored tunnel entrance to the trade show floor, and the puppy play area that mixed cuteness with care.
The result: a transformative, vanguard event for leaders in global healthcare that raised the bar across the industry.
